Too much ice not enough snow... in comparison last time I went we could reach speeds of over 70kph... Today? Maybe...25kph :D

Someone needs to introduce super studs to your run group. There are 4 guys running them in my region and after they scuff the course I have tons of grip even with studless tires.

I wouldn’t recommend these super studs for that application. I would imagine it would be quite painful.
These things give dry pavement levels of grip on ice. Last event I went to the fastest car on DOT tires was running in the 1:25s. The SS cars were down around 1:00.
